Recently Noida Authority and Delhi-based School of Planning and Architecture have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop the ‘Master Plan 2041’ for the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region. The proposed Master Plan is expected to be submitted within the stipulated time period of ten months.
According to Ritu Maheshwari CEO, Noida Authority – The DNGIR, a vast infrastructure project in western Uttar Pradesh, will support in the development of requisite infrastructure across 80 villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr.
The official announcement adds that the “Sixty of those villages fall in Bulandshahr, while the remaining twenty in Gautam Buddha Nagar. This investment territory is located between Khurja and Dadri area, which is almost equivalent to the area of Noida, which is around 200 square kilometers.”
According to the MoU, SPA has been assigned the task to develop the master plan for the coming 20 years, with a strong focus on incorporating infrastructure projects in the region centered around future requirements and industrialization.
P S N Rao, Director SPA inked the agreement and asked the Noida Authority officials to initiate the process of developing the master plan for this mega project. He added that a market analysis will be undertaken before developing the master plan to understand the scope of industrial projects in DGNIR.
