The last date for payment of property tax with 15 per cent rebate and additional benefit has been extended from July 15 to July 31 by the North Delhi municipal corporation, as informed by the mayor in an official statement released on Friday, 16thJuly, 2021.
The NDMC has extended the end date and is also providing 3 per cent ‘COVID-19 vaccination’ incentive along with the 15 per cent rebate on the payment of property tax for the year 2021-22, said North Delhi, Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh.
In line with the ‘COVID-19 vaccination’ incentive, an additional rebate can also be enjoyed, over and above the central refund, if all the eligible members in a family have been fully vaccinated.
Mr. Singh also mentioned that extension of the last date would also assist the genuine taxpayers who could not pay the tax earlier.
He also added that through such incentives, corporation would also get more revenues and more people will be willing to go for vaccinations; hence, the decision is being taken in regard of public interest.
